located on a secluded, quiet street in the historical quarter of Santa Croce in Florence, that takes its name from
the
terrace which is covered in jasmine flowers.
We are only a few metres away from the splendid Santa Croce Church - the Church of the Holy Cross - and the piazza where the annual historical football is held each summer. The bed and breakfast has four comfortable and perfectly renovated rooms that are housed in a small historic building; la Martinella, la Trecca, la Montanina and la Squilla - names chosen in honour of some famous old bells that used to echo through the city of Florence.
Each room has its own individual identity; elegantly furnished and with telephone
air conditioning and
private bathroom.
We offer a daily breakfast of fresh bread, toast, juices and home made cakes, which weather permitting is served on our terrace where the jasmine welcomes you with its delicate fragrance.
We also organize
cooking lessons for traditional Tuscan cuisine that involve going to the market together to choose fresh products, and prepare some of our best, traditional recipes which are served on the terrace, accompanied by excellent Tuscan wines.
