Mercato Centrale 1114 is of about 50m2.
It is composed of two main rooms and the bathroom with plenty of natural light during daytime.
Is situated close to the historical city centre of Florence, in a neighborhood where Carlo Lorenzini, a.k.a Collodi, the author of “Pinocchio” was born, as well as the famous jewel maker, sculptor and writer Benvenuto Cellini.
The flat is on the second floor of a building situated close to the famous “San Lorenzo” open air market –open the whole day, Tue to Sun- and the Central Market structure, where fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and typical products of tuscany can be found –Mon to Sat, mornings. Mercato Centrale 1114 was completely and finely restored and furbished in January 2006.
It is composed by a spacious living room with equipped kitchenette, table with 4 chairs, a cupboard and a sofa-bed. After a middle room, you will find a vast bathroom with large shower, and then a room with double bed it is posible to add a third bed on request for a little baby).
The flat is finely equipped and looking at the main road. Thanks to its tall, traditional Tuscany ceilings and big windows and kissed by the sun during the whole day.
In the house are available: a washing machine, an Italian coffee machine (mocha), an American coffee machine, a toaster, a 2 plate gas cooker, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a colour television set, a vhs, an hair-drier, an independent heating system.
THE LANDLORDS The landlords Paola and Stefano run the business. They are a friendly couple from Colle Val D’Elsa, a nice village in the heart of the Tuscan county.
Paola and Stefano have been hosting several Italian and foreign families in their country house for a number of years. This gave them the chance to get nice, long lasting relationships with their guests.
Paola works part-time. She loves housekeeping, as well as taking care of their two daughters, Sofia and Luisa, and their nice she-Cat Merlina. Stefano has recently retired. He enjoys the countryside and gardening. He grows vegetables, grapes and lemons nearby.
Both Paola and Stefano are welcoming, cooperative and helpful with theirs guests.
The couple will wait for you when you are expected to arrive at Mercato Centrale 1114 for giving you the keys and, if you want to, for suggesting you a few tips about the flat and life and sightseeing in Florence, for an even nicer sojourn.
