Bologna Forlì L. Ridolfi International Airport (FRL)
Although the airport is located outside the main centre of Bologna at Forli, it is still fairly well connected by a scheduled bus and shuttle service, car rentals, trains and unlimited taxis. Bertinoro is the nearest main town at about a 20 minute car journey away.

Bus services to the city and Forli train station run every 20 minutes, journey time is approximately 15 minutes. Bus services to Bologna take approx 1hr 15 minutes and run every 30/60 minutes.
A shuttle bus service also runs every 30 minutes between the Bologna Centrale railway station and Forlì Airport and also goes to to Bologna bus station and Bologna exhibition centre (Bologna Fiere).
Throughout the summer there are daily bus connections run by the E-bus company, that go to the Riviera Romagnola: Cervia, Milano Marittima, Ravenna, Rimini and Riccione among others.

The airport is connected to Forli railway station by scheduled bus service, from where you can take a train to Bologna's main station 'Bologna Centrale'. Trains run every 30-40 minutes and the journey time is around 30 minutes. From Bologna Centrale you can then catch other regular trains taking you to Florence, Pisa.
By coach:
For travellers flying to Forli with Ryanair, a coach service to Bologna is provided especially for the evening flight that arrives at around 21.50 from London Stansted. The coach service will always wait for the plane to arrive. The journey to Bologna takes approximately 90 minutes.

There are plenty of taxis from Forli airport and can be found outside the airport entrance and departure halls.
